Original Kundalini Yoga is often called the «Yoga of Awareness.» It is a dynamic, powerful tool designed to elevate your energy and bring profound balance to your daily life. Key benefits include:
Stress Relief: The unique combination of movement, breathwork (pranayama), and meditation helps quickly clear physical tension and mental clutter.
Nervous System Regulation: Through rhythmic breathing and specific postures (kriyas), the practice deeply calms and strengthens the nervous system, helping you build resilience against daily pressures.
Spiritual Awakening: Kundalini focuses on unlocking your dormant inner energy, expanding your consciousness, and guiding you toward a profound spiritual awakening.
Yes, absolutely. This class is designed so that anyone, regardless of their physical condition or prior experience, can participate. In Kundalini Yoga, we don’t focus on the perfect posture, but rather on the inner experience. Each exercise can be adapted to your pace, and the most important thing is to listen to your body and respect your limits while practicing.
In Kundalini Yoga, a kriya is a precise sequence of postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), and mental focuses that work synergistically to achieve a specific goal. In this case, the kriya acts as a technique that applies physical pressure and energetic stimulation to the lower back and nervous system to release accumulated tension and clear channels blocked by stress.
Because chronic stress isn’t just in your head. When we experience sustained stress, our adrenal glands pump out hormones like cortisol and adrenaline. This excess of chemicals saturates tissues, tenses lower back muscles, and depletes your vital energy. Physical activity helps release this «biological memory» of stress, allowing your body to regain its natural balance.
Not at all. You just need comfortable clothing (preferably made of natural fibers), a yoga mat or a comfortable surface to sit on, and a cushion if you need to elevate your hips slightly to keep your back straight. Make sure you’re in a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted during the session. And please have a device connected to the internet with a decent signal, camera, microphone, and sound.
